Close to the Lincolnshire Wolds (AONB) Fairview Cottage is set in a peaceful, rural location on our family run small holding located in the Lincolnshire village of Wickenby. Ideal for that long weekend away or an unwinding holiday just wanting to get away from it all to relax or walking and cycling taking in the scenic views of the local countryside using the nearby footpaths and the National Cycle Route.

With Wickenby and the county of Lincolnshire steeped with history Fairview Cottage enables guests to freely explore the surrounding area when it suits, with the City of Lincoln with its Cathedral, Castle, and the International Bomber Command Centre only a few miles away. Wickenby Aerodrome and Control Tower Museum with a WW11 and RAF history are a must visit within the village followed by refreshments in the café.

Within an hour’s drive guests can visit local beaches like Anderby Creek, Donner Nook and Mablethorpe. Fishing, golfing, horse riding and enjoying visiting a lot of the local market towns are all enjoyable ways to take in the sites of the local area all year round.
